About Dr. Ha
Originally from South Vietnam, Dr. Catherine Ha immigrated to the U.S. in the mid 70’s with her family and settled in South Carolina. She earned her BS degree in Biology from University of South Carolina and DMD degree from Medical University of South Carolina. After earning her General Practice Residency certificate from University of North Carolina, she fell in love with the Triangle area.
Having owned and managed two dental practices in Cary and the Research Triangle area (Durham), Dr. Ha would spend the next 22 years working with her brother who is also a dentist, growing to love her patients and profession, and expanding her scope of practice to include cosmetic dentistry, Implant restoration and orthodontics via Invisalign.
In 2017, she sold the dental practice and worked as a traveling contract Dentist throughout the Triangle area for a few years before settling down to her new dental home at Friendly Dental Group-Durham in 2021 providing quality family and general dentistry to patients of all ages.
When Catherine is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her two children, family and friends, traveling, hiking, outdoor activities and trying new restaurants.
